The definition of ‘top five Fruits for your Skin ‘
Mangoes
We will be starting off with my personal favorite: mangoes. Not only are they super sweet and delicious, but they’re highly beneficial for your skin. Mangoes are rich in beta-carotene and Vitamin A. Beta-carotene protects the skin from ultraviolet rays (thus helping in the aging department) and Vitamin A has been found to reduce oil production on the skin (thus helping clear acne). So, ultimately, mangoes are the bomb. They are a secret weapon when it comes to the fight against aging and acne.
Bananas
Bananas are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B and Vitamin E. They are a rich source of fiber, minerals, magnesium, and potassium, which aid in proper blood circulation in our body and build immunity. Bananas are a great way to get a glowing complexion.
Pineapples
Pineapples are amazing. This yummy fruit helps keep the skin flexible and firm since it increases collagen synthesis. It contains Vitamin C and amino acids which are rich nutrients the skin needs.
Berries
Cranberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Bilberries—any berry! Berries are packed with antioxidants which help rejuvenate the skin.
Strawberries in particular help give the skin a radiance from within. This is due to the fact that strawberries have malic acid which is a natural whitening agent.
So, if you want a radiant, even skin-tone, eat a berry.
Oranges/ Citrus Fruits
If you have problematic skin (especially acne), eating citrus fruits are a guaranteed way to help you out. If you want clear skin, consume citrus fruits such as oranges, mandarins, grapefruits and even lemons. Lemons help tighten the skin while oranges (and the other citrus fruits mentioned) bring hydration and vitamins to the skin.
Oranges are packed with Vitamin C and citric acid which restore collagen in the body (firms the skin and prevents aging). Oranges also have Vitamin A, which when combined with Vitamin C, reverses sun damage. It improves the texture of your skin since it exfoliates, and as mentioned earlier, hydrates.
